Twenty years ago innovation tools consisted of strategic planning, reengineering, total quality management, performance benchmarking, team management, and privatization. However, in the wake of the pandemic, “the great reshuffle” changed employment patterns dramatically. A mobile autonomous workforce separated not just by geography, but often culture, has changed the workplace. New technologies and philosophies have driven corporations to seek tools to fulfill expectations and increase efficiency. In the Workforce section we discussed tools and initiatives for labor, analytics, and process automation. Under the broad term Culture, we are looking at a variety of tools to help with these challenges, moving towards a collaborative, self-disciplined, learning organization. Tools that assist in providing alignment, purpose, and consistency throughout the organization.
